Mike’s career began as a roustabout for the oil and gas industry in California’s San Joaquin Valley before developing into a welder. Mike then received his certification as a Pipeline Welding Inspector through the National Welding Inspection School. While working on pipeline construction, he became fascinated by inspection, planning, and design. That interest led him to commercial construction in Texas, where he has worked as a Superintendent on projects up to $30M. Today he oversees the operations at Cooper.
